This session, part of the 4th annual Athens ESG Forum, will focus on the concept of a net zero value chain and its role in enabling consumers to make sustainable purchasing decisions. Experts will explore the innovative strategies, technologies, and collaborative approaches necessary to design and implement a net zero value chain. InfluenceMap's Program Manager for FinanceMap and Carbon Majors, Daan Van Acker, will introduce the session with a keynote speech exploring the Carbon Majors database as a tool for holding carbon producers accountable for their contributions to global climate change.

Daan Van Acker

Director of FinanceMap and Investor Engagement

Daan leads InfluenceMap's FnanceMap program and Investor Engagement efforts, as well as the Carbon Majors program. Prior to joining InfluenceMap in 2020, Daan earned his MSc in Mechanical Engineering from KU Leuven and MSc in Management from the London School of Economics. His previous experiences in the climate space include work in the fields of sustainable finance and renewable energy.
