Corporate Advocacy for Renewable Energy and Electrification Policy: US and Europe

A New York Climate Week Event hosted by InfluenceMap and We Mean Business Coalition

Join InfluenceMap and the We Mean Business Coalition for their fourth annual responsible policy engagement forum at New York Climate Week 2026. This year, we will explore how policy advocacy can accelerate renewable energy deployment and the transition to more electrified, competitive economies.

About This Event

InfluenceMap and the We Mean Business Coalition are hosting the fourth annual responsible policy engagement forum at New York Climate Week 2026, by invitation only.

For the first time in three decades, global electricity demand outpaced economic growth in 2024, and the International Energy Agency (IEA) expects this to become a broader trend in the coming years. How to harness this demand growth—from tech, transport, and other sectors—to turbocharge renewable energy growth is a priority for leading companies and policymakers. This year's forum will examine how supply- and demand-side companies can engage more effectively on the policies and regulations that enable renewable energy deployment and the broader transition to an electrified economy, at state and national levels across the US and Europe. We will explore where progress is happening, where the roadblocks are, and how collaborative corporate advocacy can scale the policies needed to make electrification the engine of affordable, secure, and competitive economic growth.

Why You Should Attend

Attendees can expect:

  • Insightful Case Studies from senior representatives of leading companies, on how they are engaging on renewable energy and electrification policy across the US and Europe.
  • Action-Oriented Discussions highlighting proven strategies and new opportunities for collaboration to scale effective advocacy.
