Aligning Corporate Advocacy with Climate Ambition

A COP30 Event Co-hosted by InfluenceMap and the Taskforce on Net Zero Policy

This is an in-person event at COP30. If you are interested in attending this event, please direct your inquiry to events@influencemap.org.

About the Event

Corporates and trade associations can play a decisive role in shaping climate policy. When companies actively support ambitious, effective policies aligned with the 1.5°C goal of the Paris Agreement, they demonstrate the credibility of their climate commitments and the coherence between their transition plans and advocacy practices —while contributing to the creation of enabling policy frameworks.

In this event at COP30 in Belém, speakers will present the latest research from InfluenceMap and discuss the findings of the Taskforce on Net Zero Policy, with a special focus on Recommendation 5 of the UN Secretary-General’s High-Level Expert Group on Net Zero Commitments.
